Why are custom orthotics required?

Every one of us is completely different, so are our feet! Custom orthotics are exactly what it says on the tin, customized to you to fit every part of your life, from the type of shoes you wear, your activity level, all down to the shape of your foot. This is the reason the generic orthotics will never fit or deliver results you have been looking for.

Will it really reduce the foot pain if I use custom orthotics?

Custom orthotics has been shown to work to reduce foot pain by research, even if we aren’t entirely sure why or how it does. It might be that the custom orthotics’ unique shape is what makes it so important due to more of the surface area directly contacting the foot to spread out the pressure. By distributing the pressure, this allows the painful areas to rest, which allows them to heal. So, research shows that custom orthotics does help with healing short-term pain, but by letting your foot heal, helps with long-term pain too.

Will my performance in sports increase with custom orthotics?

Custom orthodontics has been shown to improve the performance of foot, and then in turn aid your speed, stability and agility; as well as being a part of an approach to prevent injury and reduce fatigue throughout the body.

Are exercises really important for me?

Every part of the human body is made up of intricate tendons, muscles and ligaments that work together to perform every action. The foot is no exception, and each part of your foot needs to be exercised to help reduce pain. When you feel pain, exercises are really helpful in turning things back to normal.

What are the solutions you offer?

We offer a range of health products for your foot which are tailor made and easily purchased at a great price.

Can you add to the insole my doctor prescribed with a heel raise in it?

No we can’t. We encourage you to contact your doctor or medical practitioner to check it properly.

Will my orthotics fit my shoes?

Absolutely! We are specialized in custom orthotics that seamlessly fit your shoes. They may need a little tweaking here and there, but your orthotics are designed based on a template that you send to us. If you already use a removable footbed or insole, make sure to remove it and use it as a template. You can draw a line around the front of the orthotics for any alterations.

Will my bunions and flat feet get fixed by these orthotics?

While orthotics cannot fix problems such as your bunions, they usually work to support the foot and help it function effectively, which in turn does reduce painful issues related to foot.

How long will my orthotics last?

From 1 to 2 years! These orthotics are designed to last long, just like your everyday pair of shoes. Moreover, in certain instances, they may even last longer than your favorite shoes.

Can I make the orthotics last more longer?

If you want more durability, we suggest you to purchase the ‘carbon fiber” orthotics. Carbon fiber orthotics virtually indestructible and easy to clean.

How do I clean my custom orthotics?

We suggest you not to submerge your orthotics in water. Also try avoiding a dryer. Instead, hand-wash them and allow some time to dry themselves naturally.

How long will it take until I start feeling comfortable with these new orthotics?

Most of the time people notice an instant improvement, although everybody is different. If you need any support or advice, please contact us as we always ensure that you are 100% satisfied.

I am feeling a little discomfort in the arches wearing my orthotics for the very first time. Are they of different size than the one I ordered?

No, it doesn’t necessarily mean that. A lot of people feel that their orthotics are having an impact on the foot in a numerous amount of ways, which sometimes may include discomfort temporarily. This discomfort means that the insoles might be holding the feet so that your feet can be into the position where they should be, which can take some time to get use to at first.

I feel that the insoles are pushing into the heel instead of the arch. Is this supposed to happen?

This is more normal than you think. Many of our customers feel this same issue. This is more common in people with flat feet. We have noticed that they usually require more support, and this is usually very impressive when it comes to educing pain and improving the functions of foot.
